Gavel 2.0 Helmet

[Fulfills All Safety Standards] – The Gavel 2.0 helmet is made of dual-density EPS and meets and exceeds both DOT and ECE R 22.05 tests. This means that you can use this helmet in the USA, Canada and 50 other countries worldwide without a problem. This way, you can be sure that this helmet will protect you during your drive.

[Proprietary Breathbox] – The Gavel 2.0 uses a dropbox breath box to prevent wind and snow coming under your helmet. This makes the helmet a lot more comfortable to wear and prevents anything from entering from the chin bar or under. You can easily tuck your helmet down to prevent coming in at any speed.

[Comfort and Venting] Along with our Carbon Fiber technology  to make this helmet super light, we put a lot of thought into air and comfort. The helmet has rear anti-drip vents and multiple sized cheek pads to optimize wearing comfort. The visor has expanded holes to not catch wind, but will block the sun.

[Goggle Fit] – All of our goggles will fit correctly while you’re wearing the Gavel 2.0 helmet. They will fit a little tighter than what most riders are used, but that’s our secret. Enjoy fog free days that are comfortable!

Lightweight and comfortable

Overall I am beyond happy with my judged helmet. It is a lot lighter than my previous helmet and they did it without sacrificing safety or warmth. I would recommend this helmet to everyone.

Gavel 2.0

I was currently running the first version of gavel and since I started using it for ATV I decided to upgrade to the 2.0

The 2.0 feels just as light the original one the improved flexible visor is nice. Without using it yet it still has a good fit and can't wait to sled with it.
The gavel helmet is by far the best helmet I have bought.

Best Helmet Hands down!

I have been using this helmet for 2 years now and my neck thanks me every time I ride. At every stop I will toss it to a new person we meet and watch their face in shock. The helmet is about 1/4 the weight you would expect. At the end of long days my neck and upper back is no longer fatigued like it was prior to this ultralightweight helmet. The venting through the visor allows you to stand up at high speeds without the typical visor wind grab. In the midwest it gets cold and we will ride when it is -10 to -20f and while my friends a pulling goggles off and worrying about frosting up I leave my goggles on confident that I will not have any issues. Absolutely love this helmet!

Better than the original (which was awesome!)

I have an original Gavel that i’ve worn for about 15000 trail miles (Tug Hill, southern tier of NY, Maine, Quebec). It’s been the most trouble free piece of riding equipment i’ve owned in that time.

In hand, the new 2.0 is same as the original where it counts- Same fit, same goggle port, same breath box and cheek pads. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! On my scale, my 2.0 is about 40g lighter than the original. Other changes include a more open chin vent, and the new visor appears it’ll shed wind better than the original and give more range of adjustment up and down. Personally I like the old plain carbon weave look vs. the new block letter graphics but when I’m wearing the helmet i can’t see the outside.

A super lightweight lid that fits great, vents great, seals off the goggle area real well, and has a common sense no fuss breathbox setup. ignore-the-conditions, put-it-on-and-just-ride, and feel the weight savings in the neck and shoulders at the end of the day.
